MT. LEBANON, PA — Conor Lamb, the Democratic nominee for the PA-18 Special Election, raised more than $3.2 million, with an average individual contribution of $33, between January 1 and the FEC deadline on February 21. The outpouring of grassroots support has helped Lamb close to a statistical dead heat even as multiple super PACs have spent more than $7 million on television ads to support Republican nominee Rick Saccone. As of February 21, Lamb’s campaign had raised more than $3.8 million total for the March 13 special election, including more than $557,000 raised in the final months of 2017.
“I am deeply grateful for the overwhelming grassroots support we continue to generate for this campaign,” said Conor Lamb. “This grassroots fundraising has enabled us to compete and will enable us to win this special election on March 13th.”
The campaign’s complete FEC fundraising report will be filed and publicly available later this week ahead of the March 1st filing deadline.
